JULIO IGLESIAS was from Spain. The World’s number one Spanish singer in the 70”s, and 80”s, with songs like Begin the Beguine, he was the father of a famous family. The three children from his marriage in the 1970s to actress Isabel presysler-two sons and daughter-were famous too.

His daughter Chabeli worked as journalist in Washington. Julio Junior worked as model and singer, Enrique was also singer.

How many students in the world are learning a foreign language in the moment? It is, of course, impossible say exactly, but the number is enormous. In order to t each these students effectively. Teachers are demanding more information about language and language teaching techniques to satisfy these demand linguists, psychologists and educators in universities and language centers all over the world are asking questions such as “what should students learn?” How much can students learn?” and “When should students learn a foreign language?”The answers to these questions may well change language teaching drastically in the future.

Researches hope that we shall learn languages more rapidly and effectively, but with less effort.

However the very first piece of language research was not carried out recently nor was it done because of language teaching. Herodotus, the classical Greek historian, tell us that Egyptian king who lived in about the seventh century .B.C .carried out a language experiment. He wanted to discover what language was the oldest in the world, because he thought that way he could discover what race was the oldest in the world.

For his experiment he used to two new-born children whom he sent to a remote part of the country. He made sure “they had no contact with humans, and then waited for them to speak. He thought that the first words they spoke would be from the oldest language in the world .The pharaoh was disappointed by his experiment because it proved “that the Phrygians, not the Egyptians. Was the oldest race in the world?

I am Miguel. I live in San Salvador and I am a waiter at Las Brisas Hotel.

 I work Monday through Saturday, I start work at seven o’clock in the evening. Usually I serve the guests. I finish work at twelve thirty.

On Tuesday and Friday I go to my English class, because English is very important for my work.

 Luis vive con su s padres   en Cartagena. El siempre se levanta a las 6 en punto.

        La madre de Luis  trabaja en un colegio, ella enseña  francés a los niños.  Ella        lleva a Luis al colegio y luego ella va al trabajo. A Luis le gusta la geografía y la música.

 Las clases finalizan a la una y treinta y Luis va a la casa. En la tarde  Luis hace sus tareas y mira televisión.  Luis tiene muchos amigos y juega con ellos.
